About Us

Responsibility for the efficient management and administration of the Restore Hope Mission is vested in its Executive Committee, made up of its Chairman Bazikisa Ndongala-Ket, Vice-Chair Kikaba Toko Mbata, Vice Treasurer Ndiambi Vabadila, Treasurer Matusa Ndonzuau, and General Secretary Mbenga Bondjanga.

The chairperson, Evangelist Bazikisa Ndongala-Ket, graduated with a BA (Hons) in French and Information Technology from North London University and settled in Britain 17 years ago. His family joined him in 1990. He has personally experienced the challenges and dilemmas of recently arrived asylum-seekers. For the last 16 years, he has worked to assist refugees from his community, establishing excellent links with a range of organisations including the Medical Foundation, Refugee Council, Refugee Legal Centre, Amnesty International, and DIAL Waltham Forest, Waltham Forest Voluntary Action and other refugee and Christian community groups. His wide ranging knowledge, gained from various refugee communities, of the pressures associated with seeking asylum and their potentially highly detrimental effect upon health, social integration, well-being, and above all family life, strengthened his visionary mission and led him to form Restore Hope Mission.

Other members of the executive committee and associated advisors hold responsible positions in various fields, including Dr Rachel Tribe, Psychologist and Lecturer at University of East London; Kikaba Toko Mbata, Omoyemi Balogun and Raphael Massala (pastors), Mary Sasu (foster-carer); Matumona, Matusa Ndonzuau, and Kianzimbu (chiefs); Ndiambi Vabadila and Michael Trup B.Sc., M.B.A. F.R.S.A, ( Managing Director of Interactive Ideas Ltd.) . They can draw upon their experiences and knowledge to assist RHM to deliver its services as defined in the aims and object.
