RHM has been set up to help the recently arrived to settle socially and understand the legal procedures operating in the UK in relation to their current conditions. In addition, RHM aims to raise their morale, self-esteem and self-confidence through support, advice, encouragement and guidance. It is envisaged that a multi-disciplinary approach will operate in order to provide encouragement for active integration as UK citizens.
The RHM is going to assist the community it represents by providing information about health issues, language support and training in various professional fields. As well as offering to the RHM community members new learning opportunities, it will make use of their previous work-related skills and experiences, to assist those people in contributing as effectively as possible to the social and economic development of the United Kingdom, which has offered them refuge and sanctuary.
